About Jimmy Jam Outreach

About Us

Jimmy Jam Community Outreach is a 501c3 non-profit that offers a hand up not a hand out to folks facing financial challenges. Our organization is entirely volunteer-based. Meeting the needs of others with love is our passion. We help people in a variety of ways, from paying their utility and electric bills, minor car repair costs, household emergencies and more.​

Quite often the requests for help come from friends or family of the individual struggling. Many of the people we assist are single moms trying to make ends meet or elderly people suffering from unexpected illnesses. Some are families between jobs or households dealing with family emergencies.

  • Paid mortgage payment for a family struggling with a medical emergency.
  • Paid electric bill for family who was out of work for due to illness.
  • Paid for car brakes to be repaired for a single Mom of 3 so she could safely get her children to school.
  • Paid car payment for a lady recovering from an extended period off work due to illness.
  • Paid Utility bill for a woman unable to work due to health issue.
  • Assisted a young lady with some medical expenses her insurance didn't cover and a new pair of glasses.
  • Through the kindness of Amici Italian Restaurant, fed TWO families suffering a tragic losses.
  • Paid electric bill for a single mom of three.
  • Bought a laptop for a mom changing to work from home trying to rebuild her life. 
  • Paid electric bill for a young man behind on his finances because of covid
